The Rose Garden
The Rose Garden is a study of rose not as a single note, but as a living material that changes depending on how it is handled. Infused. Distilled. Composed. Each method draws out something different, and each product carries a different expression of the same plant.
In Monastery, Rosa gallica officinalis is slow-infused as a whole flower into grass-fed tallow alongside medicinal herbs once grown in monastic gardens. This is the quietest form of rose. Less about scent, more about function. Calming, steadying, and supportive when the skin is easily overwhelmed.
In Desert Rose, Rosa damascena takes the lead. This is the rose perfumers have long crowned the queen. Rich, complex, unmistakable. Here, it is expressed through its aromatic extract, layered with soft oils that carry and hold its depth on the skin.
In Baptism, Rosa alba is steam-distilled into a hydrosol. Weightless. Aqueous. A different kind of contact with the plant entirely. It prepares the skin by bringing water back to the surface, so what follows can be absorbed rather than sit.
